Barun Sobti to play lead in Imagine's 'Dulhann'..

Barun Sobti is one of those lucky actors who has got his next lead role even before his present show Baat Hamari Pakki Hai shuts shop!!

Yes, you heard it right!! Barun will now play the lead in Imagine and BAG Films' upcoming show Dulhann (which was earlier titled Luteri Dulhann). The show will be a naughty love story, of a girl who is forced to loot older men of the village for money by marrying them.

TellyBuzz has already reported that Krishna Gokani of Hamari Devrani fame has been finalized as the female lead of the show.

Our source states, "Shoot for Dulhann has already begun. The channel ahd production house were looking for an apt name to play the male lead. Popular names like Angad Hasija, Anuj Sachdeva were considered, but it is Barun who has finally bagged the meaty role".

We hear that Barun has already signed on the dotted lines, and is all set to begin shoot from 27th of February..

Dulhann boasts of talented actors like Sitaram Panchal, Smita Singh, Yajuvendra Singh, and an interesting cameo coming from veteran actor Ranjeet.

We tried contacting Barun Sobti, but he refused to comment.

The show is expected to launch sometime in March..
