Barrister Babu is different from others show that are on air right now: Guneet Sharma

Barrister Babu has managed to keep the viewers hooked with the constant drama as well as the ongoing chemistry between Anirudh and Bondita. While the show boasts of some great performances, its plot is also something that attracts a lot of eyeballs. To keep up with everything that is going on, entering the show will be actor Guneet Sharma, who is currently seen in Tera Yaar Hoon Main.

Talking about his role, he told The Times of India how this is very different from the regular shows on air and belongs to a different era and that it is a Bengali costume drama. He added how he has never tried something like this before and this will be a first for him. Though he added how he has done Aladdin, this one is different in many ways and also has its own Bengali style to it. He added how he looks very funny when wearing the mukut. He spoke about how his makeup is done as he is shooting the marriage sequence in the show.

Elaborating on his character, he mentioned, ''I'm playing the character of Angad who comes from a poor family. He doesn't even have money to bear the expenses of his marriage. Due to the same, he gets married in a massive marriage ritual which is called samuhik vivaah. This huge marriage is being organised by a rich family. In the meanwhile, Angad gets into an unintentional massive fight with one of their family members who is playing a negative role. The reason behind the fight is related to the casteism issues. My character in the show will be for a short period of time.''

Further, he spoke about working on two shots at the same time and mentioned how it is not something he has done. However, he added how he has heard of people doing 3 shifts in a day for multiple shows and he used to wonder If he would ever have a chance. He adds how it has now become a reality and he is happy working on two shows but he had his apprehensions, however, everyone was managed and while it is not easy, he is enjoying his work.
