Barrister Babu: Chandrachur raped Tapur; Anirudh mum because of her dignity?

Colors’ show ‘Barrister Babu’ is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The fans of the show were ecstatic as Bondita and Anirudh got married but their happiness was short lived as soon after the marriage, Anirudh has been arrested in Chandrachur’s murder charges. Chandrachur had planned to rape Bondita as he was always attracted towards her and Anirudh also insulted him in front of everyone. During their fight, Chandrachur got accidentally shot and Anirudh has been put behind the bars. He has accepted the crime and court has sentenced him to be hanged till death. Bondita has re-opened the case and will fight for her husband.

Well, Anirudh has not been speaking openly about the incident as it will require him to state the reason of his anger on Chandrachur. He will eventually have to reveal that he found Chandrachur forcing himself on a female. The female will turn out to be Tapur. As the show is based on per-independence era, Anirudh knows that Tapur will be subjected to several questions by the lawyer which might mess with her mental health and the reputation of the family would be disrupted with the kind of questioning that happens in such cases. In order to safeguard Tapur’s dignity, Anirudh has been staying mum.

Also, a source close to the project revealed that there might be chances that not Anirudh but Tapur shot Chandrachur. Source said, “Well, the team is working on a shocking twist and exploring various angles to make the courtroom drama more intriguing. You never know if Tapur killed Chandrachur or Tupur or may be Chandrachur himself trapped Anirudh in his murder charges. There’re a lot of possibilities but one thing is for sure; the audience will get entertained”.
