Barkha Bisht turns into a Lady Dacoit for Sajan Ghar..

Barkha Bisht who recently replaced Neha Saxena as Dhani in Star Plus' Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai is donning a new avatar to fight against all the injustice that has happened to her.

According to our source, "Dhani will join hands with Ambika Bhavani (Varun Khandelwal) and will turn into a dacoit, Devi Bhairavi".

As per the present story line, Dhani has been pushed off a cliff and somewhere down the line she feels that her husband Amber (Kunal Bhatia) is behind all this. Ambika Bhavani motivates her to fight against injustice, and thus succeeds in giving her a new identity of a lady dacoit.

When asked, Barkha Bisht told us, "Yes, I will be playing a very strong character and my name will be Devi Bhairavi. I will join Ambika's troupe to fight against injustice. Performing such a role is a challenge for me, and I am enjoying my shoot. I will be seen riding a horse, handling guns and swords etc (smiles)".

We talked to Varun Khandelwal who said, "Till now, Ambika has been helping Dhani thro' all her difficulties. But this time, he asks her to fight her battle in her own way. Dhani will now be the voice of women, and she plays a Robinhood kind of a character. I am enjoying the action sequences along with Barkha".

When contacted, Producer and Writer Shashi Mittal told us, "This kind of characterization for a woman has not been explored on television before. And portraying a woman as a strong person who can handle even a sword and gun would surely add novelty to the show".
