Babil Khan's mother Sutapa Sikdar issues official statement after viral clip; confirms son is safe

Babil Khan’s video left Bollywood fans extremely concerned. He took the names of artistes like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Adarsh Gourav, Raghav Juyal, Arijit Singh and later said something to the effect that the industry is full of rude people and bullies. He was crying in the video and everyone just wanted to know if he was safe and being cared for. Now, Babil Khan’s team has issued a clarification through his mother Sutapa Sikdar’s account. They have admitted that he too was going through a hard time, and it took a toll on his mental health. The poem he wrote for his dad on his death anniversary was very concerning for fans of the late legend.

His PR said in the video he wanted to say that the above people do want Bollywood to be better. He said they are all his friends, and he respects them. Once, the names were out people were quick to highlight that all of them belong to the Dharma clique, at least most of them. They even remembered what Kangana Ranaut said about the industry following the camp ideology where people from one group only get the good opportunities. Social media is discussing if someone like Babil Khan has to deal with this, then what would be the condition of real outsiders.

Now, Ananya Panday had also put up a post on how mental health matters. She said awareness is a must and people should be sensitive. People have been trolling her. Some even wondered if this is a reaction to what has happened. All the actors from Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan have been mentioned by Babil Khan.
