Since yesterday, several reports made rounds on the Internet about popular TV actress Avika Gor getting replaced by Mahima Makwana in Salman Khan’s movie 'Antim...The Final Truth'.
Ever since Mahesh Manjrekar’s cop drama with Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma was announced, reports were rife about 'Balika Vadhu' actress Avika Gor doing the film. It was also being known that the actress had started a physical transformation for the project as well. However, recent reports stated otherwise.
To clear the air around the ongoing controversy, director Mahesh Manjrekar confirmed that Avika was never signed for the film. "Avika was never signed for 'Antim: The Final Truth'. At least 20 girls were tested for that role and I had to chose only one who would fit the bill perfectly. Mahima suited the best” he told ETimes.
The filmmaker also confirmed that 'Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke' actress Mahima Makwana is one of the leading ladies of Antim.

Speaking of Antim, the film is a Hindi adaptation of a 2018 Marathi crime thriller film The Mulshi Pattern. The remake will see Salman and Aayush in a cat and mouse chase as the former plays a cop while Aayush will be seen stepping into the shoes of a gangster.
While Salman has played cop on screen in hit films like Dabangg, Wanted and others but this will be the first time he will put on a turban and play a Sikh cop. We are looking forward to see him in this new avatar.
