Delhi Based model turned actor, who has been featured in print ads and television commercials, Abhishek Kapur came to Mumbai with his dreams to pursue acting as a career. Having struggled his way to bag shows, the actor has done shows like 'Heroes - The Fightback Files' and 'Gumrah' on Channel V, MTV 'Webbed' Season 2 (MTV India) and 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' on Bindaas, and now wants to take up shows, which can enhance his versatility and enrich his acting skills. 

Speaking about his stint on television, Abhishek said, "Acting came very randomly to me and I learnt everything by giving auditions. I must say that auditions play a very important role in grooming and molding an actor's career, by enriching them with experience and enhancing their confidence with all kinds of exposure that helps them succeed in their field of aspiration. With this thought, I too moved to Mumbai and my 'audition-days' gave me a lot of confidence to move ahead."

While the actor was recently seen on the show 'The big F' on MTV, we went on to ask him about his interest towards daily soaps, apart from episodic shows and his aspirations to grow in this industry. 

He shared, "As an actor I just want to keep improving by doing different things which are versatile and challenging. I would really like to play the role of a cricketer in a daily show as I have been a professional cricketer in Delhi, for about 8 years and have won the Ranji trophy too."
