Asit Modi gives a statement reacting to the FIR filed against him

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular and longest-running shows. The show has recently been in the news for controversy. And the latest news that has come out is that a FIR has been registered against  Asit Modi, executive producer Jatin Bajaj and operation head Sohil Raman for sexual and mental harassment.

After the news was out, Producer Asit Modi released a statement saying, "We deny all allegations and have given our statement to the police. We are not aware if FIR is registered. In any case, the matter is under investigation; hence no further comments".

Actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala filed a complaint against the producer Asit Kumarr Modi and two other crew members last month. Talking to ETimes, the actor has now said, “He has accused me of fighting with other members of the show in an inebriated state. I would indulge in fights that would go out of control, and it would happen mostly on outdoor shoots. He also accused me of behaving inappropriately with the male members of the cast and crew, thereby creating a hostile environment on the sets… The allegations are untrue, and I feel it took so much time to fabricate things against me. He has replied to his committee ICC and sent the letter to the collector, DCP, and senior inspector (Powai). I will prove everything in court because I have all the proof recordings. I am waiting to hear from the cops, but there is no movement in the case all this while.”

However, that time Asit Modi denied the allegation .
