Ashita Dhawan steps in for Maninee De..

Star One’s unique reality show on the battle of sexes, Zara Nachke Dikha  which gets underway on July 14th every Monday and Tuesday at 9.30 PM suffered a setback even before its launch when Maninee De, a contestant in the show opted out owing to severe back problems. But as we all know, the show had to go on and hence the production house opted to seek a replacement for Maninee.

According to our sources, “Maninee had shot for the two introductory episodes, after which she could not continue. Ashita Dhawan, who plays Malti in Rajan Shahi’s Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai has been roped into the show now. Ashita has started rehearsing and has also shot few performances with us”.

Above all, the gorgeous Ashita Dhawan dressed in breath-taking white was spotted at the launch party of Zara Nachke Dikha which was held at the All Sports Bar, Andheri on 8th July, 2008.

So wishing the ‘Bahu’ of television a grand welcome into the world of reality!!
