Ashish Bhatia: Meisha and I are playing a very special part in Roadies!

Ashish Bhatia who was seen in MTV Shows Roadies and Splitsvilla, got in a fun and interesting conversation with us at India Forums where he spoke to us about spending time in quarantine, Bigg Boss, participating in a rap show, working with Miesha and much more:

Speaking about spending time in quarantine, Ashish said, “I'm spending time with family and eating Mom’s Paratha that I was missing so much. I am having a good time, I keep working out. I even released a rap recently.”

Ashish also spoke about his recent rap song on Coronavirus and the inspiration behind it. He shared, “My mom was after me for 2 days and she asked me to make a rap on Corona. Being a rapper, I was like people will troll me if I make a rap on coronavirus and she was giving me suggestions. I sat in the evening and I wrote a rap. The first thing was why am I writing this rap, because I don’t know what to do at home, so this is how I wrote the first line of the rap.”  Ashish then went on to explain it to all the aspiring rappers how he found one topic and made a rap along with the rhymes and a message. 

When asked about entering a rap show like MTV Hustle, Ashish said, “I either had two choices, splitsvilla or Hustle. In hustle, I will only rap but in splitsvilla I will be able to rap, dance and do everything else as well. So that’s why I took splitsvilla. But if I get a chance again, then I wouldn’t miss it. See, MTV has its audience, I had an audience in roadies, then it increased in splitsvilla then another audience will come in hustle. Also, to know whether I am actually that prepared or not. Because I didn’t win two shows but then if I do another one, that I’ll win anyhow.”

Ashish also spoke about participating in Bigg Boss and said, “I want to do Bigg Boss. I don’t follow it much, I didn’t even follow Roadies or splitsvilla much, just used to follow it on social media on different pages.” Talking about Khatron ke Khiladi Ashish said, “I love that show, I love action a lot. I want to do action as I am a dancer. It would be the best package for me as I’ll get to do action.”

Ashish was asked by one of his fans whether he and Piyush are enemies in real life. To this, he said, “Alot of people used to ask me if our fight was scripted or planned. But it was not planned, it was a genuine fight from the first day and it went on and got big. I have a confused face and I am not the one who gets angry often, when he used to fight, I was confused that why is he so angry. Whatever Anger I have shown in the show, I am not that person. I did it because of him. I am the kind of person who will give it back in comedy if someone fights with me.”

Talking about his upcoming projects with Meisha, Ashish said, “I can't reveal it now but will give a hint. Meisha and I are playing a very special part in Roadies and we’ll be seen a lot.” He added, “Miesha and I are partners in crime. We have a lot of fun, she’s a gem of a person, very cute. She doesn’t know Hindi that well and my English is not that good, so we have a lot of fun. Miesha as an artist is very professional, she reaches everywhere on time. I learn a lot from her, she takes everything very seriously and I am more of a careless type of person.”
