Asha Negi Recalls Being Shy & Awkward during the Lip-Lock Scene in Baarish 2!

ALTBalaji and ZEE5's most-awaited romantic drama - Baarish season 2 trailer has left the viewers and the fans wanting for more. The first season became an instant hit and the makers are back with Season 2 which will premiere on 6th May 2020. The series stars Sharman Joshi as Anuj and Asha Negi as Gauravi. 

In a conversation with a leading portal, Asha Negi opened up on her first on screen kiss in the series and revealed that she was quite shy and awkward before rolling. Speaking to Tellychakkar, she said, "There are a few lip-lock scenes, but the makers made sure that the scenes don’t turn out to be steamy or raunchy. They assured that the innocence and simplicity of the couple and the story is intact. We’ve kept the scenes sweet”.

She added, "It was my first on-screen kiss, I was quite shy and awkward before rolling. I remember my director and Sharman were all comforting me as it was my first ever lip-lock onscreen”.

Asha also revealed that when she was first told about the scene, she agreed because she didn't want to limit herself to particular roles and restrict herself as an actress.
