A few weeks ago, the re-run of the popular mythological show, Ramayan went on air on Doordarshan. The show's rerun is massive success with people watching it religiously.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had congratulated actor Arun Govil, who essayed the character of 'Shri Ram' in the show. However, he happened to tag a fake account of Arun Govil by the handle name 'RealArunGovil'.
After this, Arun Govil brought to everyone's notice that the account was fake and shared his real account's handle, which is @arungovil12. Arun Govil had made a humble request of suspending the impersonator's account. The fake account has been suspended now but the impersonator claims to be Arun's disciple.
He wrote that he only shared the posts on Twitter that Arun Govil shared on his Facebook account, and assured he never misled anyone or misused anything.
Arun Govil's plea to terminate the fake account caught everyone's attention and the video went viral in no time. He rose to fame from Ramanand Sagar's show, Ramayan (1987), which also featured Dipika Chiklia, the late Dara Singh, Sunil Lahiri and others.
