Arjun Kapoor who was present at the trailer launch of Mere Biwi Ka Husband was asked about his marriage plans. He said people would come to know when it would happen. Arjun said he had come for the movie and did not wish to shift the focus on his personal life. He said he had allowed the media to have a lot of chatter on what was going on in his personal space.

The hunk said when he would marry he would surely talk about his would-be bride. One could sense the annoyance in his voice, but he kept his cool. Fans have praised the star for his solid support for Malaika Arora after she lost her father Anil Mehta. He was one of the first to be with her mother and family. During the promotions of Singham Again, he confirmed that he was single. Fans felt Malaika Arora did not like this public statement as she said she would never discuss something private in the media.
