Arjun Kapoor condemns clickbait culture in journalism highlighting 'Malaika's pregnancy rumour' incident

The actor took to Instagram to express his disappointment with the "fake" news and condemned the unethical practices of the media. In a recent interview, Arjun addressed the issue of negative media reports and clickbait culture, attributing the blame to both clickbait practices and the media's propagation of such content.

Sharing a screenshot of the 2022 news article that sparked the controversy, Arjun expressed his frustration, stating that the journalist responsible had consistently published such gossip articles without facing any consequences. He highlighted the dangerous nature of such reporting, where false narratives spread across various media platforms and eventually become accepted as the truth. Arjun firmly stated, "This is not done. Don't dare to play with our personal lives."

During a recent interview, Arjun further elaborated on the impact of clickbait culture, emphasizing that negativity tends to attract more attention from audiences. As actors, he acknowledged that a certain level of intrusion into their personal lives was inevitable due to the nature of their profession. However, he appealed to journalists to be more mindful and considerate, especially when it came to publishing sensitive or life-altering information. Arjun stressed the importance of verifying facts and seeking confirmation from the individuals involved, rather than making assumptions and creating false narratives.

Meanwhile, for the unversed, Malaika Arora, who was previously married to actor-producer Arbaaz Khan co-parents son Arhaan Khan with him. Malaika and Arjun went public with their relationship in 2019 after years of dating. Despite ongoing wedding rumors, neither Arjun nor Malaika has confirmed any plans regarding marriage.
