Your stint in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 continues to grab everyone's attention, tell us about the journey that it has been so far.

It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to do a show like Khatron Ke Khiladi. Honestly, this season people are really liking it, there's also a lot of drama happening apart from the stunts (laughs), so people are liking it. We are having a lot of fun also. Whatever everyone feels in terms of their personal opinions about stunts, etc, there's a lot of fun that everybody is having, and because it is so genuine it is translating into numbers as far as TRPs go. We've been running long episodes, and for that, the ratings have been excellent, which shows that it still does well and has a fan base across all age groups. I am pretty happy that I've been fairing well on the show and I've been getting a lot of positive responses as far as my journey is concerned.

Reality shows are always a learning curve, what was your takeaway from the show?

I think a lot of times we live in our comfort zones and barely get out of that, as far as I am concerned, I have always gone out of my comfort zone, whether it is playing characters, or even this show, a lot of things that I thought I will not be able to pull off or that it would be difficult to complete it when you push yourself, I think you can achieve anything, and that is my biggest takeaway. You need to keep pushing yourself to pursue your goals. Apart from that, what I have learned is that it is not necessary there is always going to be issues (with 13 people on the show). We have all bonded pretty well on the show and that itself is possible. I have got a lot to learn with Rohit sir, the way he has handled everything and the way he hosts the show. Overall, it has been a great experience, just waiting for the finale now.

You returned to hosting and hosting a show with a subject that is clearly close to you. Tell us about it.

I have recently shot for a couple of episodes for Flavors of Maharashtra, I am looking forward to that. I am born here in Mumbai and I think this city has given me a lot, even the industry is in Mumbai. This was an opportunity for me to do something for my city and my State, and I was more than happy when I was offered this considering everyone was wondering what is next after Khatron Ke Khiladi. It was a breather for me also, I traveled to Nashik, was fortunate to go to Shirdi. There are so many places that people have no idea about, and I think people need to start traveling within the State as well. Experiencing the flavours, given the kind of food that Maharashtra has to offer, whenever they go to these places, they must all try these cuisines.
