Salman Khan's unintentional comparison with a 'raped woman' created a stir in the media. The superstar got badly bashed by the masses on the social media. Also many women activists have threatened him to apologize or he shall face severe consequences.

While the actor is still to come out in public and clear his stance; his father Salim Khan gave out a public apology on his behalf.

On the other hand even his Arbaaz Khan has tried to rectify his brother's frivolous statement.

At a recent event, when Arbaaz was asked about Salman's controversial quote he shared his piece of mind.

Here's what he said,
"Somebody asked me this today and I just want to say, not every incident that happens with Salman I am supposed to be answerable to that... Is salman getting married, who is his girlfriend... He is a 50-year-old man who says what he wants to the media and lives his life...

There are somethings which we say while talking but we should look at the intention, why was it said. I definitely have no doubt that whatever Salman said, the intention was not wrong. It was just the kind of (statement) where we compare things... 'I worked like a donkey' so now people will say you used the word donkey so some animal activist will come after you.

Sometimes you say something out of context, your intention is not wrong but if you de-sensitise it and become over sensitive about it then you can create an issue over anything.

I am sure Salman must have realised the comparison he did was not may be appropriate and for that, if he feels he needs to apologise, he will apologise or not, why are you asking me whether he should or not.

I don't think it's fair... It is his issue, if you get an opportunity to ask him then ask him but I shouldn't be saying... I think, may be, he has said something out of context and if he has said it by mistake, may be he should probably give a justification.

But I don't think I am entitled to make a comment and say 'he has to apologise'. I would hope that he gives a clarification for whatever, because a controversy has been created. So jawaab dena banta hai, because people look upto him, he has got a lot of following, he is a youth icon. So if he has made a staying that doesn't look very appropriate, then may be in time he will give a statement.

Salim saab is the father... Sometimes a person also apologies when somebody is hurt. 'It's okay, it's not my fault but if you felt wrong, I apologise'. If you apologise Everytime doesn't mean you are genuinely sorry about what you have said or done. Sometimes because you have hurt somebody's sentiments, said something that is not so appropriate, you apologise."

Cant believe this guy. I used to like him. Is he seriously comparing a comment like "worked like a donkey or worked like a dog" statement to "feel like a raped woman, I could not walk?". No words to describe how I feel about the lame justifications given to this gross statement. Pretty pathetic.

now this loser stands up for his brother to cover up his ass .bunch of low life who will always find a way to justify the actions of this 50 year old piece of shit.his fans r equally responsible to boost up his ego and he thinks he can say and do anything and always get away with it coz he's the goon of Bollywood who's supported or feared by his equally disgusting fraternity and dumb fans.

Incredible how there isn't even a squeak out of the Bollywood industry. Usually they're all so opinionated about the controversial things others within the industry may say or do.

Salman's fans are so retarded that even if he farts, they'll say "WOW BHAIJAAN WHAT A FART!! IT SMELLS SO GOOD!!". I dont even wanna call him an actor anymore. He doesnt even know what acting is. Bloody criminal! He deserves to be in jail! The fact that this loser Salman has so many fans is proof of the literacy rate in India which is VERY LOW! It's impossible to be an educated person and be a fan of this criminal at the same time. There are 2 types of people in India. Educated people and Salman fans.

Making such comparisons may not be a big deal, IF you do it at home and not in an interview. See, he's right about making stupid comparisons, I guess we all do it but honestly, when you're that famous, you carry a certain responsibility, your words have to be chosen WISELY. While I would never make such a comparison, I still think it wouldn't have been a big deal if someone said such a thing in a private conversation. I mean Salman might use some cuss words at home which he would probably not do in an interview.
That being said, he deserves all the hate he's getting! He is NOT a good human!
