Apurva Agnihotri Back to the Helm...

Apurva Agnihotri is back with a bang in NDTV Imagine's Say Shaava Shaava and Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi... Here is the actor in conversation..

Apurva Agnihotri is quite looking forward to NDTV Imagine's, 'Say Shaava Shaava'. "It's great fun to sing in front of celeb judges , Karan and Simi. I have been rehearsing so much that my throat has gone sore", he grinned. Ask him about the games most reality show employ to win TRP and he get's defensive. "I really am not bothered, I just concentrate on my singing and go home." He further added that he did not wish to compare himself with any of his fellow contestants. "I am only competing with my self",adds the star with the most pleasing smile.

Besides Shaava Shaava, Apurva is also excited about his other NDTV show, 'Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi'. Here he plays a doctor who is in love with the eldest daughter, played by Mona Vasu. "Shekhar is unlike contemporary TV doctors, and sports long hair and has an attitude". He says, "The creative's wanted me to have a short crop, but I said no, these days doctors are also quite stylish."

He is quite happy doing this weekly, for dailies take up too much time and plus this show is being shot as realistic as possible, no useless swash pans etc.

Remind him of Kaajal and Apurva gets a bit dejected! "All dailies begin with promise, but soon peter out". In closing we could not help but ask whether Jassi was stretched a tad too long. "Yes but then if all shows start ending quickly, how we can make money?", quips Apurva..

but if it was about making money apu dear why u did not continue
u had such powerfull role.....
but rock this radha now and please dear cut ur hair na docs look more cool with croped hair....

OH MY GOSH...Apu plays a Doctor in RKB...So a stylish doctor..one of its kind..hehe...I m sure he wants to set a new trend for doctors now by keeping long hair...So basically this was his look for his new serial...

And I m sure Apu will win Shava Shava at any cost...Bas just concentrate on your singing and u hv your fans to support u always..I m already doing campaigning here in my society for Apu..hehe..Go Apu go...the world is waiting for u to arrive with a bang..

And also don't get disappointed with Kaajjal because trust me ..DPS was one of the best roles that u hv played in your career..mayb the storyline went haywire in the end but u always rocked in it and your fans hv always loved your performance in Kaajjal..
