Anushka Sharma consoles an Emotional Virat Kohli; Photos and Videos below…

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her husband and cricketer Virat Kohli have always set couple goals by providing each other with support through the thick and thin in their lives. The power couple attended the ceremonial event of renaming Feroz Shah Kotla stadium after former finance minister Arun Jaitley, where one of the stands is being named after Virat, yesterday in Delhi. 

Several pictures and videos of the couple have surfaced on the internet, but what caught most of the people’s attention was Anushka holding and kissing Virat’s hand trying to support him. 

During the event, DDCA President Rajat Sharma recalled an emotional incident. He mentioned that back when Virat was in the under-19 team, Jaitley had visited Virat’s home in Uttam Nagar, Delhi after his father’s demise. Despite of his father’s demise, the 30-year-old cricketer continued with the match. Jaitley had predicted that he would one day be a big name. 

At the mention of Virat’s late father, both Anushka and Virat got emotional and were trying to hold back tears.

Recently Virat had opened up about his first interaction with wife Anushka Sharma, on the Graham Bensinger's talk show, he said, "The first time I met her, I cracked a joke immediately with her. I was nervous and that is why I cracked the joke because I didn't know what to do. Before meeting her, I was standing on set all jittery and nervous. 

"I thought I was being funny. I just said something which wasn't probably the right thing to say. She is tall as well and she was told that I am not 6 feet or plus and 'you must not wear massive heels or anything'. She walked in and was looking taller than me. I said, 'Didn't you get a higher pair of heels than these?' She was like, 'Excuse me?', I said, 'I am just joking!' My joke actually became a weird moment for myself. I behaved like a fool, to be honest." 

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma, who has been taking a break from the big screen, was recently accompanying her hubby throughout the West Indies Tour.
