Anupamaa: The Kotharis' forced stay at the Shah House turns fun with a cricket match

Star Plus' Anupamaa currently focuses on Rahi and Prem's wedding preparations. While the family enjoys the celebrations, Mahi struggles to be happy as she still harbours feelings for Prem.

Recently, Anupama invited the Kotharis for lunch. Though they arrive with doubts, Parag is soon impressed by the warm hospitality and delicious food. However, just when Rahi gets a chance to shine, Mahi deliberately ruins her efforts by spoiling the sweet dish she prepares.

Sensing foul play, Anupama confronts Mahi and warns her that if she repeats such actions, she won't stay silent.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Parag receives information about an attempted theft at the Kothari mansion. Concerned for their safety, he informs both the Shahs and the Kotharis, suggesting that they check into a hotel until the investigation is complete. However, Hasmukh offers an alternative, suggesting they stay at the Shah house instead. Rahi supports the idea, saying it would also give both families a chance to bond. With everyone in agreement, the Kotharis decide to stay at Krishnakunj for the time being.

To lighten the mood, Rahi and Prem come up with a plan to unite the families through a cricket match. They make all the necessary arrangements, including setting up the pitch, wickets, and equipment. Rahi then gathers everyone, announcing that a wedding household shouldn't be dull, and a cricket championship is the perfect way to bring excitement.

As the match begins, Anupama bowls while Rahi takes charge of batting. The Shahs perform well, managing to get most of the Kothari team members out one by one. Just as Leela confidently declares that the groom's team has lost, Parag surprises everyone by stepping forward. Removing his blazer and rolling up his sleeves, he prepares to bat, leaving the Shahs wondering if the groom's side can turn the game around.

Meanwhile, Parag entrusts Anupama with selecting a ring for Prem, and she considers giving him one that belonged to Anuj.

Later, during lunch with the Kotharis, Mahi taunts Rahi about her lack of cooking skills. Determined to impress them, Rahi prepares a sweet dish with Anupama's guidance, but Mahi sabotages it by swapping salt and sugar. The dish turns out salty, embarrassing Rahi. However, Anupama grows suspicious, checks the kitchen, and finds the ingredients tampered with. Radha shows her video evidence of Mahi's actions. Anupama confronts Mahi, while Rahi apologises for her cooking mistake. The episode ends with Anupama gifting the Kotharis and Parag appreciating her efforts.
