In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) informs Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) that his testimony is not the only crucial factor in court. He mentions that the judge required more eyewitnesses and the murder weapon, the gun. He explains that they were able to prove that Shivansh (Sonu) was not at the club that day, leading to the judge releasing him from all charges. Sonu and his father exit the court with their lawyer, and Suresh's guard presents them with garlands. Suresh and Sonu share a joyful moment, with Suresh instructing someone to bring a drum as his son has been acquitted. A reporter questions Suresh about his feelings, and he emphasizes that truth has prevailed, the honest individual has won, and the liar's face has been tarnished. They depart. Anupama nearly collapses, but Devika reassures her that the lack of evidence prevents them from reaching the court in time. Malti Devi dances and contemplates her intentions to make this family her own. Barkha suspects Malti Devi's motives.
Vanraj laments his failure to secure justice for his son and feels abandoned by his supporters. Anupama corrects him, saying they haven't lost yet. Dimpy is in shock, but Anupama encourages her not to accept defeat. Anuj affirms their determination to continue the legal battle in the high court and supreme court to achieve justice for Samar. Suresh arrives and provokes Vanraj, warning him not to lose his temper or he'll end up in jail. Anupama intervenes, and Vanraj complies. Suresh offers them, special sweets while his guard records the moment. Vanraj eventually accepts the sweets but tells Suresh that he'll return the favour someday. Anupama tries to diffuse the tension and encourages everyone to eat the sweets. Suresh taunts them, saying they are on the brink of defeat, but they've emerged victorious. He leaves after a few more words.
Pakhi and Adhik watch the news and are relieved that they didn't provide a statement, realizing that even if they had, it wouldn't have helped their case. Romil berates them for their lack of integrity and calls them shameless. Adhik claims the court needed concrete evidence, but Romil argues that the court could have searched for evidence if they had given a statement. Pakhi concedes their weak case, and Barkha advises Romil to listen to music and meet his friends. Adhik insists it's a family matter, but Romil questions their behaviour, highlighting their selfishness. Pakhi gets defensive, and Adhik raises his voice, telling Romil to stay out.

Anupama shares her determination with Babu Ji, assuring him they will fight and win. Dimple, however, expresses concern that continuing the legal battle is tearing the family apart, with Kinjal and Toshu planning to go abroad. Anupama inquires about their destination, and Babu ji informs her that they are leaving for a foreign country. Malti Devi is teaching dance to Choti Anu and other girls when Barkha questions whether she sought Anuj's permission. Malti Devi asserts her authority, and Barkha reminds that Anupama has a significant role in the house. Barkha explains that these days, daughters-in-law hold power, and she adds that Anupama's name is on all of Anuj's Kapadia empire properties, implying that Anupama's children will inherit it after her. Anupama asks Toshu and Kinjal about their plans, and they confirm they are leaving. Anupama assures them that no one will stop them.
Precap: Anupama surprises Sonu by visiting the cafe and tells him that Ravan Dahan will take place. She provokes him to confess and reveals the same gun used in the murder. Sonu points the gun at her, and she declares her intent to confront him.
