Anupamaa: Prem fails to support Rahi when she faces family's wrath

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Rahi spends quality time with Radha, engaging in playful moments. Prem, enchanted by Rahi's caring nature, finds himself imagining a deeper connection with her. Meanwhile, Rahi soothes Radha with a heartfelt lullaby, a gesture that fills Anupama with nostalgia. Hearing Rahi sing, Anupama realises that beneath her anger, Rahi retains her old self. Anupama wishes to see Rahi embrace singing again but refrains from expressing this directly, instead mouthing the words to the lullaby along with her.

Rahi and Prem team up to care for Radha. Curious, Rahi inquires about Radha's mother. Prem shares that Radha's mother is unwell, prompting Rahi to pray for her recovery. She reflects on how every child deserves a mother's love and takes it upon herself to ensure Radha feels comforted. As Rahi prepares to put Radha to bed, Prem agrees with her sentiments about the importance of maternal love.

Later at night, Toshu and Pakhi hatch a mischievous plan to tamper with the spices. Toshu proposes shifting the blame onto Rahi if Anupama questions them, which Pakhi acknowledges as a clever move. Meanwhile, Prem notices Rahi shivering in her sleep and tenderly covers her with a blanket. In her sleep, Rahi instinctively holds Prem's hand, a moment that deeply moves him. He falls asleep beside her.

Rahi is startled to wake up and find Prem sleeping nearby. She confronts him, and Prem explains that she had unknowingly held onto him, preventing him from leaving. Their conversation shifts to Radha's mother, and Rahi offers another prayer for her health. A minor disagreement ensues between Rahi and Prem, but he secretly cherishes the fact that Rahi used his jacket for warmth.

The next morning, Leela questions Radha's presence in the house and playfully asks Radha about her use of the swing. The Shahs grow curious about Radha's background. Prem explains that Radha is staying with them temporarily as her mother, Shristi, had an accident. However, Toshu criticises Anupama's decision to take Radha in, calling it unnecessary charity, and urges Rahi to convince Anupama otherwise. The Shah family resists accepting Radha, but Rahi takes a stand by feeding Radha and ensuring she feels welcome.

Jhanki observes the situation and questions the Shahs' lack of empathy. Prem supports her observation, pointing out that the Shahs barely respect Anupama, so their current behaviour is unsurprising.

Later, Prem and Jhanki uncover that the spices in the kitchen have been tampered with. Anupama confronts Toshu, who initially denies any involvement. However, when Prem suggests calling Kalpesh, the supplier of the altered spices, Toshu reluctantly admits to taking the order but shifts the blame onto Rahi. He claims that Rahi masterminded the plan, leaving her stunned. Toshu spins a fabricated story, alleging that after Kalpesh left, Rahi confided in him about a scheme to use Kalpesh's products and share the profits equally.

Toshu defends his actions by stating he was merely executing Rahi's instructions as she holds authority. Rahi, shocked and hurt by the false accusations, confronts Toshu and denies the allegations. She firmly states that she has never indulged in wrongdoing and does not tolerate unethical behaviour. Despite her denial, the Shah family sides with Toshu, blaming Rahi for the incident. Leela's harsh words further escalate the situation, as she not only criticises Rahi's actions but cruelly remarks that even her existence has been a mistake. This deeply wounds Rahi, and Anupama's anger surges at Leela's insensitivity.

Feeling dejected, Rahi declares she has no need to prove her innocence to those unwilling to see the truth. She walks away, leaving the Shah family behind. Prem, however, follows her and confronts her about the incident, expressing his disappointment. He accuses her of being disinterested in the business and driven solely by a desire for revenge, suggesting she would go to any lengths to fulfill her agenda. Prem emphasises that his support for her is conditional on her not opposing Anupama.

Rahi, deeply disheartened by Prem's lack of trust, challenges his assumptions. She accuses him of judging her without seeking the truth and admits she expected better from him. The confrontation leaves her feeling betrayed and isolated.

Meanwhile, the Shah family continues to accuse Rahi, but Anupama steps in to defend her. She reminds everyone that Toshu has already admitted his mistake and reaffirms her faith in Rahi. Anupama confidently asserts that Rahi would never compromise anyone's health for the sake of revenge, emphasising her belief in Rahi's integrity. She compares Rahi's values to her own, leaving the family taken aback by her strong stance.

As Toshu attempts to justify himself, Anupama receives a notification of a 10,000-rupee transaction from Kalpesh. She presents the evidence to Toshu, leaving him speechless. She explains that the money was mistakenly sent to the company account, likely representing Toshu's commission, as suppliers pay for goods rather than taking money in return. Anupama highlights that while she never needed proof to believe in her daughter's innocence, evidence was essential to expose her son's wrongdoing. This revelation shocks the family and silences further accusations against Rahi. She reprimands him for his actions and warns him against repeating such behaviour.

Later, Radha and Prem attempt to lift Rahi's spirits. Prem apologises to her, but Rahi refuses to forgive him, still hurt by his lack of trust.
