Anupamaa: Pakhi pushes Mahi to hasten engagement with Prem, calling Rahi a threat

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Dolly expresses her disappointment, accusing Anupama of continuing to support Prem. Toshu remarks that Anupama starts defending whenever anyone criticises Prem. Pakhi urges Leela to discuss the matter with Anupama and asks her to expel him from their house. Toshu voices his concerns, claiming that Prem could potentially manipulate Pari or Ishani, emphasising the urgency of ousting Prem from the house. He further criticises Prem, stating he doesn't even deserve the role of a servant, and blames Anupama for backing him. Leela decides to confront Anupama regarding this issue.

Meanwhile, Prem advises Mahi not to doubt herself after facing rejection, emphasising that self-judgment is unnecessary. Reflecting on Rahi, Prem contemplates offering support to Mahi. He acknowledges that he does not love Mahi but agrees to give their relationship a chance. Hearing this, Mahi smiles from ear to ear. He asks Mahi if she is willing to wait for his love, and Mahi promises to stand by him. Prem urges her to reconsider, but she reassures him that she will wait for the day when he loves her, too. Prem silently resolves that his actions are sacrifices for Rahi and Anupamaa, and he believes he can never truly fall in love with Mahi.

Leela confronts Anupama about Prem's presence in Mahi's room. Anupama asks Leela to remain calm, but the tension escalates when Mahi excitedly approaches Anupama. Embracing Anupama, Mahi announces that Prem has agreed to give her a chance, while Prem confirms this to Anupama. Leela questions Prem's future plans, asking how he intends to provide for Mahi after their marriage. Prem admits he has a lot to figure out, but Mahi reassures everyone, saying she is prepared to live with Prem under any circumstances. Prem requests time from the Shah family to sort things out.

Leela voices her doubts to Anupama, suspecting something unusual about Prem's sudden decision. She believes Prem and Mahi's union won't succeed. Anupama decides to address the issue directly with Prem, asking if he felt pressured into agreeing to the marriage. Prem admits he doesn't love Mahi but promises to make an effort. The following day, Rahi is occupied with packing parcels when Prem arrives. Their eyes meet, but they avoid each other, weighed down by their emotions. While Rahi focuses on her work, she gets tangled in the ropes used for packaging. Prem steps forward to assist her, but they both end up more entangled. Finally, Rahi grabs a pair of scissors and cuts the ropes. She then steps away, distancing herself from Prem. Frustrated, she picks up a rubber band and begins snapping it against her wrist as if punishing herself. Rahi reflects on how Prem is sacrificing his feelings for her, while Prem is equally conflicted, feeling that he is giving up his happiness for both Anupamaa and Rahi. Despite the pain, Rahi resolves to endure everything for her mother's happiness, even as she struggles with Prem's decision to be with Mahi.

Meanwhile, Pakhi engages in a conversation with Mahi, suggesting that she should speed up her engagement to Prem. Pakhi warns that Prem could develop feelings for Rahi since she is always around him. Adding fuel to Mahi's insecurities, Pakhi manipulates her further by stating that Rahi might become a threat to her future with Prem. Pakhi's words unsettle Mahi, and her cheerful demeanour fades as she starts to reconsider her situation.

Later, Prem, overwhelmed by his frustration, begins smashing bottles. Rahi arrives and tries to stop him, but he brushes off her attempts and continues. When Rahi gets hurt in the process, Prem immediately tends to her, apologising for causing her pain. His unexpected concern leaves Rahi stunned, and she questions how he can not hate her despite everything. Prem responds that true love leaves no room for hatred and admits he could never harbour ill feelings toward her, even if she asked for his life.

In a deeply emotional moment, Prem shares how he has respected her wishes in this lifetime and makes her promise to honour his wishes in the next. Rahi agrees, and Prem remarks that he will wait for the life that follows. Both, overwhelmed by emotions, create distance between themselves, with Rahi walking away from the scene. As she moves further away, she glances back, only to find Prem turning toward her at the same time. In an instant, they run toward each other, embracing tightly, both emotionally shattered yet unable to deny their bond.
