Anupamaa: Moti Baa's schemes against Rahi and Anupama get exposed after days of marriage

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Prem questions the whereabouts of the letter, wondering who might have taken it despite the staff receiving it. He begins to suspect that someone intentionally withheld it. His suspicions lead him to confront Parag. Meanwhile, Anupama starts doubting Moti Baa's involvement. Parag defends himself, asserting that if he truly wanted to hinder Prem's plans, he would have purchased the university rather than resorting to deception. A heated argument ensues between Prem and Parag. Moti Baa intervenes, taking Parag's side, and urges Prem not to disrupt the festive atmosphere.

However, Prem and Rahi are left heartbroken when they learn that their admission has been cancelled. Moti Baa dismisses their distress, stating that Prem can apply again next year. Rahi, unable to accept this attitude, questions how they are expected to move on when someone deliberately sabotaged their aspirations. Moti Baa advises both of them to put the matter behind them.

Rahi, however, refuses to let go, arguing that no one truly wants them to move on. She passionately speaks about her dreams. This reminds Anupama of how her own ambitions were once crushed by her in-laws. She reflects on how little has changed for women in society. Sensing tension, Moti Baa asks Anupama not to hold her responsible for the missing letter. Anupama, however, points out that she never even mentioned Moti Baa's name. She directly questions why Moti Baa appears restless.

Prem, unwilling to let the matter slide, demands the truth from Moti Baa, warning her of the consequences if she remains silent. Under pressure, Moti Baa finally confesses that she burned the letter. A devastated Prem accuses her of shattering his dream. Rahi feels deeply betrayed, while Gautam believes that Prem and Rahi deserved such an outcome.

Anupama, unable to fathom Moti Baa's stance, questions why she would oppose their admission. Moti Baa openly admits that she is not progressive in her thinking. She expresses her traditional belief that a daughter-in-law's mother should neither visit frequently nor interfere in family matters. This sparks a heated argument between Anupama and Moti Baa.

Rahi confronts Moti Baa, holding her accountable for Prem's heartbreak. She points out that if Moti Baa had allowed Prem the opportunity, he could have repaired his relationship with Parag. Rahi further accuses her of standing in the way of Anupama's dreams as well. In response, Moti Baa insists that her only concern is for Rahi's future, but she believes a woman's place is at home, managing the household. She then shifts the blame onto Anupama, accusing her of manipulating Prem and Rahi for her own benefit. She also claims that Anupama does not give Prem the respect he deserves. Moti Baa strongly asserts her belief that women should focus on household responsibilities while men should be the breadwinners. Anupama counters this by stating that often, women themselves refuse to see other women succeed.

At this point, Leela supports Moti Baa, questioning why Rahi should work when she can focus on family duties instead. Anupama responds by reminding Leela that she is merely justifying her own past actions. She recalls how Leela once tried to stop her from working and that only Hasmuk stood by her side. Anupama confronts Moti Baa for betraying Prem and Rahi, urging her to stop trying to control them. She points out that Prem is different from Vanraj—he genuinely supports Rahi's aspirations. Determined to ensure that Rahi does not face the same struggles she once did, Anupama firmly takes a stand.

Parag, however, dismisses Anupama's statements, asking her to take her lectures elsewhere. He insists that everyone in the family respects Moti Baa. But Anupama refuses to back down and strongly reprimands Parag. Moti Baa, standing her ground, declares that a good daughter-in-law should always prioritise her family over personal ambitions. Anupama fires back, stating that Moti Baa does not understand what it means to have dreams.
