Anupamaa: Moti Baa insults Anupama, making her serve guests who call her a waitress

Star Plus' Anupamaa currently focuses on Rahi and Prem's wedding preparations, with the family immersed in the celebrations. However, Mahi finds it difficult to rejoice as she still harbours feelings for Prem. Meanwhile, Anupama extends a lunch invitation to the Kotharis, who arrive with some reluctance. Despite their initial hesitation, Parag is soon won over by the Shahs' warm hospitality and the delightful meal.

Just as the Kotharis prepare to leave, Parag reveals that there was an attempted break-in at their home. Concerned about their safety, he considers checking into a hotel. However, the Shahs step in and persuade them to stay at their house instead, a suggestion the Kotharis eventually accept.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Rahi and Prem's mehendi and sangeet ceremonies take centre stage. The catering is managed by Anupama's Anu Ki Rasoi, seemingly arranged by the Kotharis. As the celebrations begin, Anupama remains occupied in the kitchen, preparing dishes for the event. The festivities kick off with lively dance performances, where the groom's side is dressed in green, while the bride's side, along with Prem, dons pink.

Hearing the upbeat music from the kitchen, Anupama assumes the function is in full swing and plans to join Rahi soon. While Rahi, Prem, and the guests immerse themselves in the joyous moments of the celebration, Anupama is caught up in the catering arrangements. Later, As Rahi sits down for her mehendi, she eagerly waits for Anupama. After finishing her work, Anupama hurries to attend the function, but before she can meet Rahi and Prem, Moti Baa intervenes, instructing her to serve snacks to the guests. Keeping a composed smile, Anupama obliges.

As she personally serves drinks and snacks to the Kotharis' guests, murmurs of criticism arise, questioning how a waitress's daughter could become Kotharis' daughter-in-law. Moti Baa appears to relish Anupama's humiliation, but Anupama calmly responds, asserting that no work is small. She clarifies that she is not a waitress but a mother, and serving guests at her daughter's wedding is her privilege, leaving Moti Baa stunned.
