Anupamaa: Moti Baa calls off Aryan and Mahi’s wedding after Parag backs Prarthana

Tonight's Anupamaa episode opens with Moti Baa preparing to speak, but before she can, Prarthana steps forward and declares she'll speak for herself. She urges the Kothari family to trust her judgment, if not her, then at least the values they instilled in her. With conviction, Prarthana announces her decision to part ways with Gautam and seek a divorce.

This declaration sends shockwaves through the family. Moti Baa and Gautam immediately hold Anupama responsible for influencing Prarthana's choice. However, Anupama calmly counters their accusation, pointing out that if anyone deserved a divorce notice, it was Gautam, not Prarthana. Moti Baa continues to insist Anupama is the root cause, claiming she has manipulated Prarthana.

Anupama firmly denies the allegation and explains that Prarthana is finally choosing dignity over suffering, and that no one has pressured her; this is entirely her own decision.

Leela questions Anupama's involvement in someone else's family drama. Hasmukh reminds her that Anupama also steps in when Leela spats with the women in society, suggesting it's natural for her to stand by what's right. Prarthana reiterates her desire to end her marriage with Gautam, standing strong despite the chaos.

Moti Baa, unable to contain her frustration, lashes out at Anupama, but Anupama maintains her composure and reminds everyone that Prarthana has full authority to decide the future of her marriage. Her words strike a chord with the rest of the family, who begin to side with her.

Raghav voices his support for Anupama and Prarthana, highlighting the hypocrisy in the family's behaviour. He calls out how the Kotharis once framed him in a false murder charge, yet are unwilling to understand Prarthana's legitimate concerns.

When Moti Baa insists that outsiders should stay out of family matters, Raghav reminds her that legally, he is still connected to the family as their son-in-law.

Leela cheekily says she's finding Moti Baa and Raghav's exchange entertaining. Gautam, sensing things slipping out of his control, tries to divert attention by accusing Prarthana of having an affair with Ansh. Ansh immediately refutes the baseless claim, and Anupama steps in to warn Gautam to stop attacking Ansh's character.

As tensions rise, Gautam pushes Anupama in a fit of anger, provoking Raghav's fury. Prarthana steps in again, calmly stating that she no longer wishes to live with Gautam. A shocked Gautam looks around and wonders why no one is stopping her.

Moti Baa then tries to reassert control, declaring that there should be no further talk of divorce at least until Aryan and Mahi's wedding is over. She also prevents Gautam from creating more chaos in the moment.

Anupama apologises to Aryan and Mahi for the disruption, and Ansh swears on her that there's absolutely nothing between him and Prarthana. Anupama then urges Parag to speak up and support Prarthana like a true father figure.

Meanwhile, Leela again blames Anupama for meddling in everyone's affairs and ruining lives. But Anupama responds that there's nothing wrong in standing up for someone who needs help. Just as Moti Baa tries to interrupt, Anil stops her and lets Parag have his say.

Parag speaks to Prarthana privately. She tells him how hard she tried to keep her marriage going, but ultimately realised that Gautam is not the kind of man she can spend her life with. Hearing her pain, Parag stands with her and supports her decision.

Enraged by Parag's support, Moti Baa impulsively announces the cancellation of Aryan's wedding. Parag reminds her that Aryan and Mahi are already married, and the declaration makes no difference now.

Meanwhile, Raghav grows more concerned about Anupama and reflects on how he couldn't stay silent when she and Prarthana were both being cornered.

Anupama later gives a powerful speech, calling out the selfishness of those around her. Leela takes another dig at her, saying that divorcing Vanraj was her biggest mistake and blaming her for setting a bad example for others like Prarthana. Anupama shuts her down, saying she has no regrets about ending her marriage with Vanraj and doesn't care for Leela's opinions.

On the other hand, Aryan is growing increasingly anxious about the status of his relationship with Mahi. Khyati tries to offer him comfort, promising to protect their happiness. But Aryan, overwhelmed by stress, asks her to leave him alone. As he struggles with his emotions, he finds himself tempted to return to substance abuse. Anupama assures Mahi that things will be fine and urges her to remain strong during this chaos.
