Anupamaa: Leela and Hasmuk plan to leave the Shah house for good

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) expresses concerns about the fears surrounding old age. Both Devika and Bhavesh concur with her sentiments. Anupama feels sorrowful for Hasmuk and Leela, noting their considerable workload despite their advanced years. She is upset with Pakhi for blaming Hasmuk and criticises Vanraj for not standing by him. Anupama highlights that Vanraj's behaviour was particularly hurtful, emphasising that the elderly require care akin to that given to children.

Meanwhile, Vanraj reflects on Pakhi's actions. Kavya offers him support, and he explains his dilemma of being caught between Pakhi and Hasmuk. He accuses Anupama of unfairly blaming him for his inability to support Hasmuk. Kavya comforts him and advises him to understand the reason behind Hasmuk taking the medicine instead of blaming him. She comments on Pakhi's indifference towards Ishani, suggesting Pakhi might be asleep while Hasmuk and Leela are likely upset. Kavya urges Vanraj to consider how he would feel if Toshu or Dimple prevented him from seeing Pari and Ansh.

Leela and Hasmuk make a decision:

Anupama, Devika, and Bhavesh resolve not to become burdens in their old age. Anupama believes Vanraj will eventually take care of Hasmuk and Leela. Later, Leela tells Hasmuk that they cannot pass away before Dimple's wedding. Hasmuk agrees, remarking that old people do not die by choice. They decide to leave the house after Dimple's wedding without informing anyone. Anupama, still worried about Hasmuk and Leela, receives a call from Anuj, who advises her to sleep instead of taking stress pills. Anupama admits she isn't sleepy, and Anuj offers to share her pain, leaving her surprised.

Elsewhere, Leela and Hasmuk work on decorating Dimple's bridal dupatta. Anuj inquires about the catering for Dimple's wedding, and Anupama admits she has no idea. Anuj suggests she cook, but Anupama doubts her ability, causing Anuj to worry. Hasmuk and Leela are also concerned about the Shah family. The children, Ansh, Pari, and Mahi, demand their attention, asking Leela for milk, which she and Hasmuk avoid providing. Kinjal, Dimple, and Kavya try to console the elderly couple. Ishani greets Hasmuk and Leela, requesting milk from Leela. Pakhi steps in, pulling Ishani aside and instructing her to stay in her room. Pakhi tells Ishani to come to her for anything she needs instead of asking others. When Ishani refuses to comply, Pakhi threatens to raise her hand. At that moment, Adhik arrives, and Ishani runs to him. He kisses her affectionately before giving Pakhi a stern look. Adhik then tells Pakhi to leave Ishani alone. Devika asks Anupama if she will cater for the Shahs, and Anupama expresses her fear of cooking. Devika encourages her to overcome her apprehension.
