Anupamaa: Here's how Anupama ensures Anuj's presence in Rahi's wedding

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anupama instructs Toshu and Ansh to drop Prem off, but Prem insists on going by himself. However, Anupama scolds him and firmly repeats her instructions to Toshu and Ansh. After their departure, Rahi expresses remorse and apologises to Anupama.

Anupama advises her to go and rest, but Rahi pleads for forgiveness. She explains that she went outside only because she saw Prem standing there. Anupama, overwhelmed with emotions, refuses to listen to Rahi's pleas. She breaks down, recalling the terrifying moment when she woke up from a bad dream only to find Rahi missing. Panic had gripped her as she searched the entire house, fearing the worst. The fear of losing her had shaken her deeply, yet Rahi failed to understand the gravity of the situation. Anupama reminds her that she is Anuj's precious responsibility, someone she cannot afford to lose. She emphasises that if anything had happened to Rahi, she would have struggled to face Anuj or even his photograph. Anupama expresses her frustration, pointing out how children often assume that a simple apology can fix everything. In reality, had she called Prem home, the situation wouldn't have escalated to this extent.

Despite Rahi's repeated attempts to seek forgiveness, Anupama remains firm, refusing to let the matter slide. Overwhelmed with emotions, Rahi starts dancing, and the Shah family gets sentimental. As the performance concludes, both Rahi and Anupama break down, embracing each other in a moment of deep understanding and sorrow. Just then, the hen crows, signalling the start of the long-awaited wedding day. Kinjal announces that the wedding day has officially begun.

Later, Rahi calls Prem, who admits that he is still affected by the events of the previous day. Rahi tries to uplift his mood and the two share excitement about their wedding. Anupama carefully places a large photo of Anuj, wanting him to be a part of every ritual and witness their daughter's farewell. Overcome with emotions, she clutches the photo tightly, tears streaming down her face. Kinjal approaches her and suggests that she spend time with Rahi, assuring her that she will handle the arrangements.

As Parag gets ready, he admires himself in the mirror, feeling proud of his appearance and relishing the thought of being the dashing groom's father. Just then, Khyati playfully teases him, suggesting that it's a good thing the neighbourhood knows Prem is the groom—otherwise, they might have mistaken Parag for one instead. Parag is left surprised when he sees Khyati and the two exchange flirtatious banter. Parag, however, asserts that for Prem, they are more like distant relatives than parents. To lighten the moment, Khyati encourages Parag to stay positive and enjoy their son's wedding. Khyati remains optimistic, believing that Rahi's arrival will bring harmony to their family.

Meanwhile, Ishani and Pari assist Rahi in getting ready for the wedding. When Anupama sees Rahi dressed as a bride, she is left speechless. Pari requests Anupama to give the finishing touch to Rahi's look, to which Anupama responds by admiring her beauty.

Rahi then curiously asks Anupama if Prem will also look as good as she does. A flashback scene shows Rahi telling Prem that she will wear Anupama's wedding attire for her special day. In response, Prem had asked for permission to wear Anuj's outfit as a blessing. Returning to the present, Prem shares a picture of himself with Rahi. She advises him to respect his parents just as he respects Anupama and Anuj. The Shah family showers Rahi with compliments for her stunning bridal look.

Meanwhile, at the Kothari household, everyone is taken aback upon discovering that Prem has chosen to wear Anuj's outfit. However, Prem diverts their attention by reminding Moti Baa to focus on the wedding proceedings. Moti Baa instructs Anil and Meeta to help Prem wear his turban. Following the tradition, Prem expresses his wish for Parag and Khyati to perform the ritual, leaving them both startled. After completing the ritual, Prem humbly seeks blessings from everyone.

Amidst the wedding preparations, Rahi lights a diya in front of Anuj’s photo, and both she and Anupama grow emotional, feeling his absence deeply. As they share a quiet moment of remembrance, Pari arrives, letting Anupama know that Moti Baa is looking for her.

Meanwhile, the Kotharis eagerly gear up to take the baarat, but Prem surprises everyone by announcing that his jeep will be his wedding ride. Adding to the excitement, he extends an invitation to the watchmen, insisting they join the baarat as well.

Later, lost in memories, Anupama opens her heart, expressing just how much she misses Anuj on this special day.
