Anupamaa fame Nishi Saxena talks about her equation with Sagar Parekh

Nishi Saxena, known for her role as Dimple in the popular television series "Anupamaa," recently opened up in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV. 

Reflecting on her journey with the show, Nishi expressed her gratitude, describing it as a dream come true. Recalling her days in Delhi, she shared how watching Anupamaa with her family at 10 pm was a cherished routine, never imagining she'd one day be a part of it.

The actress reminisced about the disbelief she encountered when informing her father about landing the role. The sheer unexpectedness of being cast in such a renowned show left both her and her father pleasantly shocked. Despite initial apprehensions, Nishi plunged into the role with dedication, ultimately finding fulfilment in portraying Dimple.

Addressing persistent rumours surrounding her relationship with co-star Sagar Parekh, who used to play Samar in the series, Nishi emphasised the strength of their friendship. Denying any romantic involvement, she clarified that Sagar is her closest confidant, someone with whom she shares a bond beyond the realms of a romantic relationship. Their camaraderie, she explained, predates the show, having grown stronger over time, particularly during their shared experiences on the set.

Recalling an incident during the mock shoot where she surprised Sagar by showing up unannounced, Nishi highlighted his support and encouragement in her journey. This genuine camaraderie solidified their friendship, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect.
