Anupamaa: Anupama reaches Choti's school right on time

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) contemplates serving breakfast to everyone before bringing Choti back home. Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) startles her, and Anupama inquires about his intentions. Anuj draws her closer, playfully calling her out for neglecting a good guy who's dressed up early to romance her. He expresses his desire to add some excitement to their lives, but Anupama humorously suggests adding chaat masala to it. Anuj asks about the direction of their relationship, to which Anupama conveys her understanding and asks for his phone to call Choti. However, Anuj advises her not to worry and to let Choti enjoy her time with friends. He attempts to continue their romantic moment, but Anupama reminds him they are not in a private setting.

Malti Devi picks up Choti from her friend's house and shares plans for the day, including shopping for school shoes, putting on the school uniform, and attending sports day. Choti inquires about Anupama's presence, and Malti Devi reassures her that Anupama will join them when she can.

Meanwhile, Anupama prepares breakfast in the kitchen, while Anuj wonders why no one has arrived yet. Anupama warns him not to expect romance, and Anuj clarifies that he was referring to a different conversation. He asks how it felt for her to return to the dance academy after a long time, and Anupama expresses her happiness. Anuj remarks on Malti Devi returning the dance academy to her, and Anupama reveals the emotional significance of the academy to her and Samar. They share a heartfelt moment.

While in the car with Choti, Malti Devi promises to let Choti talk to her mother once they arrive. Romil shows a video of Choti dancing at the breakfast table, and Anuj appreciates it, noting that Choti dances like Anupama. Anupama humbly acknowledges Choti's talent and praises Malti Devi as an excellent dance teacher. She plans to serve breakfast before picking up Choti, but Barkha reveals that Malti Devi has already left to fetch her. Anupama calls Malti Devi, shocked by the unexpected turn of events. Malti Devi assures her that she has already picked Choti and intends to continue the day's plans. Anupama is left worried and suspicious of Malti Devi's actions.

Choti requests to speak with her mother, but Malti Devi pretends to have a poor network signal. Romil speculates that Malti Devi might have ulterior motives. Anuj assures Anupama that Malti Devi won't repeat this in the future. Choti expresses her disappointment that her mother never missed her school function, while Malti Devi continues to manipulate the situation to her advantage. Anupama calls the driver only to find out about Choti's sports function at school and suspect Malti Devi's intentions. She realizes that Malti Devi is up to something and rushes to Choti's school.

Malti Devi secretly revels in the idea that Anuj will realize Anupama's imperfections when he learns about her absence. Anupama's car breaks down, and she rushes to Choti's school, losing a slipper in the process. As Anupama hadn't arrived, the teacher summons Choti for the competition, pairing her with Malti Devi. They proceed to the competition, but Choti's spirits are dampened. Just as the teacher is about to begin tying their hands, Anupama arrives, much to her daughter's joy. Malti Devi, on the other hand, appears displeased.

Precap: Anupama and Anuj exchange Dhanteras greetings and plan something special. They set the stage for a play in which they act as God and Goddess.
