Anupamaa: Anupama meets Shruti, Anuj's fiancee

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Shruti takes delight in relishing some delectable chole bhature. Vikram, recognizing Shruti as a regular patron, requests Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) to serve her. Anupama graciously agrees and feeds Shruti. Despite being new, Anupama takes care of Shruti, who, in turn, appreciates her service and urges her to use her name. 

Shruti, captivated by the warmth she feels around Anupama, captures a photograph of her. Curious about skills, Shruti is asked if she is a professional photographer, to which she reveals her passion for photography. Anupama, observing Shruti's habit of shaking her leg while eating, politely asks her to refrain. Shruti assures Anupama and receives a call, prompting her to leave to meet Anuj (Gaurav Khanna).

Upon meeting Anuj, Anupama senses his presence. Engaging in conversation, Shruti inquires about Anuj's transformation of heartstoppers into showstoppers. Anuj, expressing concern for Adaya, reveals her growing social media addiction. Anuj and Shruti spend quality time together, during which Shruti boldly proposes marriage to Anuj. Despite Shruti's proposal, Anuj requests time to consider. 

Shruti reveals that they've been a couple for four years, emphasizing the familial bond they share with Aadhya. She mentions Anuj's previous condition that they would marry only when approved by Aadhya. Now, even Aadhya inquires about their wedding plans, and Anuj discloses that they got engaged under the influence of both Shruti and Aadhya, questioning the rush for marriage.

Impressed by Anupama's work, the shop owner hires her and emphasizes punctuality. Anupama, lacking another place to stay, asks permission to sleep at the shop, which the owner grants. After having dinner, Anupama reflects on the challenging journey to America.

Anuj contemplates Shruti's marriage proposal while Shruti discovers her luggage has been exchanged with Anupama's. Tempted to explore the contents, she opens the bag, with Anuj sensing Anupama's presence. Anuj intervenes, advising Shruti against invading the bag owner's privacy. Acknowledging Anuj's request, Shruti closes the bag. Anupama realizes the luggage mix-up and finds Shruti's diary. Intrigued, she decides to open it. 

Precap: Anupama sleeps contentedly on the floor. Anuj advises Choti to eat carefully, leading to Anu's anger as she demands he address her as Aadhya as she hates being called 'Choti'. Anuj stands stunned.
