Anupamaa: Ankush makes Anuj sign a confidential document; did Ankush betray him?

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) inquires of Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) about the circumstances that prevented their meeting. She questions him on why he couldn't reach her, explaining her own efforts to find him. Anuj, lying on the lap of Anupama, is reminded of the past. She insists on answers, probing why he appears so broken. She also questions when he arrived back in India, leading Anuj to recall his accident.

Flashback:

In the flashback, Ankush consults the doctor about Anuj's condition, and the doctor informs Ankush and Barkha that Anuj's life was saved, though he suffers from internal bleeding. Anuj inquires about Aadhya from Barkha, who reassures him that the police are on the case.

Anuj expresses concerns about Aadhya to Ankush, who then asks Anuj to sign some confidential documents, assuring him not to worry about business matters. Both Ankush and Barkha inform Anuj that Aadhya is no longer alive, which leaves Anuj in shock.

Anuj reveals the tragic news:

Coming to the present, Anupama questions Anuj about Aadhya, and Anuj reveals the tragic news, mentioning that Ankush told him. Anupama, in disbelief, refuses to accept the news, expressing her belief that Aadhya will come back to them someday. Anuj, distressed, asks Anupama to keep her distance. He cries out for Aadhya while Anupama tries to calm him down. She resolves to find Aadhya herself, respecting Anuj's wishes if he prefers her to stay away.

Vanraj then has a meeting with Virani to discuss a potential collaboration, but Virani turns him down. Vanraj is determined to win Virani over with a significant deal. Bala speaks to his wife, promising to meet her before he dies. When Indra questions Bala about his conversation, he skillfully changes the subject. They then discuss Anupama and Anuj. Indra inquires if Bala has ever been in love, which makes Bala reminisce about an old crush. Indra hopes Bala finds true love, and Bala confesses his feelings for Indra.

Leela warns Anupama:

Leela asks Sagar to repair a leak, to which he replies that only a plumber can handle it. Anupama informs Leela that Hasmuk is well, provoking Leela's anger. Anupama learns of Meenu's impending arrival and is warned by Leela to stay away. However, Anupama remains determined to meet Meenu. Her thoughts then drift back to Aadhya, and she resolves once more to find her. Anupama then plays with her dog, Coffee, feeling excited about Meenu's arrival.
