Anupamaa actress Adrija Roy finally opens up on controversies around the show: 'There can be misunderstanding'

Adrija Roy recently spoke to Pinkvilla about the controversies surrounding her show. She shared her thoughts on the Anupamaa set and its controversies, saying: "Every set has its ups and downs—it's like a family, right? There can be misunderstandings or stress due to tight schedules, but for me personally, nothing major or controversial. I’ve always focused on my work and tried to stay away from unnecessary noise. My experience so far has been more of learning and growth."

Adrija on her bond with co-star Rupali Ganguly, "Oh, she is an absolute gem. She’s like my own! From day one, she made me feel so welcome. There's no ego, no senior-junior energy—just warmth and guidance. Over time, our bond has only grown stronger. We laugh, we chat, we even confide in each other. I’m lucky to have her around, both as a co-actor and a friend."

The current track on Anupamaa revolves around a dance competition where Anupama and her daughter Rahi are competing against each other.
