Anupamaa actor Sagar Parekh confirms being approached for the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

Sagar Parekh, known for his role as Samar in 'Anupamaa,' left fans in shock when his character met an untimely demise in the show. However, there's good news for fans of the actor and the show, as Sagar might appear in the upcoming season of 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa.'

Sagar had taken over the character of Samar from Paras Kalnawat. Now that his track in 'Anupamaa' has concluded, rumors are circulating that he could be a contestant in the new season of 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa.' India Forums reached out to Sagar for confirmation, and he stated, 'Yes, they have approached me, and discussions are ongoing, but nothing has been confirmed yet.'

As 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' prepares for its return, speculations about the celebrity contestants for the new season are already creating a buzz in the media. Previously, the show was aired on Colors, which acquired the broadcasting rights from Sony TV after Season 4. It continued exclusively on Colors from Season 4 through Season 10. However, Sony Television has now regained the rights for 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,' marking its return to the Sony network.

Several names, including Shoaib Ibrahim, Urvashi Dholakia, Shiv Thakare, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, and Shivangi Joshi, have reportedly been approached for the upcoming season. Manisha Rani, known from 'Bigg Boss OTT 2,' is also in discussions to participate in the show."
