Anupamaa actor Aashish on multi-starrer shows: A talented actor can shine even in thirty seconds screen-space

Star Plus’ Anupamaa has always garnered love for the audience. The show has been securing the top position in the BARC charts since a long time now. The loyal fans of the show can relate of Anupamaa. The show is produced by Rajan and mother Deepa Shahi. The show has an excellent ensemble cast including actors like Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Anagha Bhonsle, Ashish Mehrotra, Nidhi Shah, Muskan Bamne among others. 

Often actors working in a multi-starrer show suffer the issue regarding the screen-space. India Forums got in touch with actor Aashish Mehrotra aka Paritosh Shah of Anupamaa and asked him about his views on being a part of show which has a lot of popular actors, he said, “I never get bogged down about the screen-space thing because I feel a talented actor can shine and stand-out even in the thirty seconds and can make his presence felt in the show and win hearts”.

Aashish added, “Most multi-starrer shows doesn’t revolve only around the lead actors but they also explore many other angles related to the rest of the cast. This keeps the freshness of the story alive and audience also doesn’t get bored watching only one particular story rather they get many other parallel stories which retains their attention to the show. Many a times, some characters from a multi-starrer show become the leads of cross-over shows. It all depends upon the characterization and the talent of an actor”.
