Anupamaa: A new rivalry begins as Rahi and Mahi lock horns

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Toshu expresses his frustration with Anupama, criticising her for completing numerous orders yet failing to earn any profit. He lashes out, accusing her of trying to play the martyr. He informs Leela that he has taken his share of the earnings, considering it essential for Pari's future.

When Prem requests to see the records, Toshu curtly reminds him to act like an employee, escalating the tension. Leela questions Toshu's outburst toward Prem, but he brushes her off. Frustrated, Prem slams his fist against the wall, where he unexpectedly encounters Mahi. She tells him she's preparing some medicine for Ansh. Prem comments on her kindness, and Mahi begins to wonder why her heart beats faster whenever he's around.

Ishani confides in Pari, feeling irritated that Ansh seems to be crediting Rahi for everything. Pari defends Rahi, noting that she has genuinely supported Ansh, but Ishani believes Rahi has caused him trouble. The two clash over the issue, leading Pari to refuse lending Ishani a dress. After a moment of tension, they work through their differences and patch things up.

Meanwhile, Mahi recalls Prem's recent compliment, leaving her to wonder why her heart races and she feels butterflies in her stomach. She finally admits to herself that she has fallen in love with Prem. Convinced that his kind gestures and frequent compliments mean he feels the same way, she is hoping he might make the first move. She contemplates sharing her feelings with Anupama but decides not to rush things, realising it's best to wait and see how things unfold naturally.

Rahi gathers cotton and antiseptic supplies for Ansh, struggling to hold everything in her hands. Noticing her difficulty, Prem steps forward and asks if she needs help. Although Rahi declines, she stumbles as she turns to leave, causing the antiseptic to fall. Prem quickly catches it, placing it back on the tray. He watches her walk away and finds her adorable. Mahi begins to daydream about Prem. Noticing Mahi's growing interest in someone, Pari probes her to reveal the person, but Mahi suggests it's best to leave it to the right moment, hoping Prem will eventually make his intentions clear.

Anupama notices Rahi's dedication to Ansh, which stirs feelings of jealousy in Mahi. Mahi recalls Ishani's warning that Rahi would always hold a special place in Anupama's heart, realising that Rahi's presence might even distance Ansh and Pari from her. As Pakhi, Dolly, Tohsu, and Kinjal all voice their criticism of Anupama, Ishani decides to refocus on her work, and Pari sets her sights on a fashion design internship. Ansh and Mahi also contemplate their own career paths, each feeling motivated by Anupama's guidance.

As the story unfolds, Prem seeks Mahi's help, and at the same time, Rahi asks Mahi to cook for her. This request irritates Mahi, who initially refuses, but when Rahi presses her, Mahi snaps, telling her to make her own meal. Rahi, in response, tries to calm her down, questioning why she's getting so angry. Mahi retorts, challenging why Rahi feels she has the exclusive right to express anger.

The tension escalates as Mahi accuses Rahi of being all talk, prompting Rahi to confront her, asking if she has a genuine problem with her presence. Mahi doesn't hold back, expressing frustration over Rahi's apparent double standards. Despite claiming she doesn't want any relationships, Rahi still maintains one with everyone. She further reveals her resentment, pointing out how she's tirelessly worked to support Anupama in Rahi's absence, yet Anupama still holds Rahi in high regard.

At this, Rahi questions whether Mahi's real issue is jealousy over the attention she's receiving from everyone. Prem attempts to step in, but Rahi dismisses him. Mahi, visibly frustrated, warns Rahi not to disrespect their guest, to which Rahi replies that she, too, is a guest. When Mahi implies that Rahi has overstayed her welcome, Anupama intervenes, urging them to put aside their differences.

Later, Rahi finds herself in a tense confrontation with the Shah family, who mock Anupama for spending money on her. In response, Rahi firmly clarifies that she will leave the house once the 10 lakh repayment and her living expenses are covered. Until then, she will continue staying there. Mahi is disheartened, feeling she has only caused more conflict. Prem steps in to comfort her, and Mahi gratefully leans on him for support. As Prem consoles her again, the bond between them deepens, drawing her attention and stirring her emotions.

Anupama later discusses Mahi's insecurities with Ansh, who suggests that Mahi's jealousy stems from Rahi's close relationship with Anupama. Anupama worries that Rahi's financial independence may soon lead her to move away.
