Anupama stands up for the cause of women, rightly points out the differential treatment to men and women

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, we will see Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) stand up for what she believes in and set an example of how any relationship between two friends of an opposite gender must be perceived, irrespective of who it is. This all stems from the fact that Anupama is seen playing garba with Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) in her society and many, including her own Baa, question the same.

While majority of the women out there have a point of view that a girl and a guy cannot be friends, it is then that Anupama is seen pointing out how when Kavya was a part of the celebrations and functions at the Shahs, no one raised a voice, because that time, it was Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey), a man. And well, she truly has correctly pointed out how the treatment meted out to the two genders is rather different and that shouldn't be the case.

Meanwhile, there's also an entire bit where Anupama goes on to raise her voice and quiet everyone, because she'd rather have her peace of mind than address concerns of every single person in her society. Nonetheless, she is done with all the allegations against her and points out how much like everyone else's friends come visit them, her friend and business partner will, too.

In the end, before leaving, she wishes to burn the 'Raavan' citing how one must get rid of all the ill-thoughts and the raavan that lies within everyone. Though the message and the entire speech she gives out is very basic and something one would expect to be executed in present times, the sequence does create a rather strong impact, and since it has such a wide audience, it becomes all the more important to address these issues and raise a voice against them.
