A few days back, we informed you about the second installment of Irrfan Khan's "Hindi Medium" going on floors. However, director Saket Chaudhary, who helmed the first project will no more be working in the second part of the film.

Now, we have some fresh details about the project.

Director Homi Adajania has been roped in to direct the comedy flick.

Producer Dinesh Vijan confirmed the news and said: "Homi doesn't make films very often as he refuses to do stuff that doesn't bowl him over.

But when I narrated this one to him, he loved it. And when I saw his reaction, it was a no-brainer! I guess from our production house's stable of directors, Homi was the most unlikely choice for Hindi Medium 2 and that's exactly why I have signed him on."

Besides Irrfan Khan, Deepak Dobriyal will also be returning in the sequel with a more strong and longer role.

The film will showcase the father-daughter relationship as the crux of it.
