Ankita Lokhande: I Want To Play A Female Lead Role In Movie and Want People To Remember Me For It

Pavitra Rishta fame Ankita Lokhande is one of the leading ladies in the Television industry. The actress has also featured in some Bollywood movies as well. When it comes to settling down and getting married the Manikarnika actress is clear about what she wants from her life.

In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, the actress mentioned that she has lots to achieve professionally before she takes the big step. "Abhi toh bahut kaam karna hai, I have a lot of things to achieve before I get married," she said. In the chat, Ankita Lokhande stated that she wants to do a film as a female lead before exchanging wedding vows. "Of course I can but I want to do one film jo sirf meri ho, as a lead heroine and I want people to remember me for it- maine kuch cheezein soch rakhi hai apne liye before I get married. I am talented and hardworking and I know I can fulfill this dream," she added. 

Ankita in the early days of her career grabbed headlines owing to her six0year long relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput. The duo was ready to spend the rest of their lives together but looks like destiny had some other plans for them. After her break-up with Sushant, Ankita found love in Vicky Jain who is a businessman by profession. The actress has not been much vocal about her relationship with Vicky but looks like love is in the air once again for the actress. 

Ankita Lokhande went on to reveal how supportive her rumored beau, Vicky Jain, is of her aspirations. "He is understanding towards me and I am towards him, so it's sorted," she said before signing off.

Marriage is not on cards for the Pavitra Rishta actress for now. Let us hope things get better soon and we see the actress on the screen once again.
