Ankita gets a surprise visit from parents

Says our source, "Since the time Ankita got to know that her onscreen parents' anniversary will soon be featured in one of the episodes, she had been feeling blue. The reason is that even Ankita's real parents' wedding anniversary falls in November. She felt bad that though she is part of her onscreen parents' wedding, she cannot be with her parents on their special day."

Adds the source, "When her parents heard of this, they decided to surprise Ankita by flying down to Mumbai and spent the entire day on the set. She then celebrated her real and reel parents anniversaries together with the entire unit!"

We spoke to Ankita who says, "Yes, when the creatives told me that my onscreen parents' wedding is a part of the storyline, I felt sad that I will not be there when my real parents celebrate their anniversary. I had asked the production house for a few days off to go visit them for the occasion. But they didn't give me. I think they felt bad for me, so they coordinated with my parents so they can come visit me (smiles)."

Ankita adds, "Where I come from, the world of lights, camera and action is a far-away dream. To become an actress is something very rare. My mom has seen me shooting. But it was the first time that my father ever saw me in action. He couldn't believe that it was his daughter who was giving the shots. The whole day and the entire night my parents were there on the sets. They enjoyed with me and my colleagues. It was a wonderful experience."

We are happy for Ankita!
