Ankit Gera Clarifies Rumors About Quitting Acting & Opening a New Production House

Ever since And TV's show, Agnifera went off-air back in January 2019, actor Ankit Gera did not take up any other project ever since. This led to some rumors about how the actor has apparently decided to quit acting. This was largely facilitated by the fact that Gera is currently staying in his hometown, Delhi.

However, in a recent interview with Bombay Times, the actor went on to clarify that he has not quit acting and is only spending some quality time with his family. He said, I have been working continuously for the past 11 years, so I decided to take a break from television. I will never quit acting, that’s for sure,” He further explained, "I cannot ask my parents to leave everything and shift to Mumbai with me, so I decided to return home to spend some time with them and help them with their business as well. I left home at a very early age, so I didn’t get much time to spend with them. Our business is also picking up pace, so I wanted to help, and it never hurts to have an alternate career option. I think every actor should have something to fall back on in case their acting career doesn’t do well.”

When Gera was asked about getting back to acting and when will he will be taking up new projects, he said, "I will be happier doing short films or music albums at the moment as they won’t require me to stay in Mumbai for a longer duration. In fact, I have started my own production house and I am doing a lot of Punjabi music albums too. So, I am definitely not disappearing from the screens,”

The fans of the actor can certainly feel relieved now.
