Television actress Anjuum Faakih, who gained fame after her role in Kundali Bhagya, recently addressed her much-talked-about breakup with Rohit Jadhav. The actress had confirmed her relationship with Rohit, who is not from the entertainment industry, back in 2022. However, news of their separation emerged in 2024. Until now, Anjuum had remained quiet about the matter.
In a recent interview with Telly Masala, Anjuum shared her thoughts about the breakup. Reflecting on her relationship journey, she said, "When we fall in love, we accept it with a lot of excitement and an open heart. I believe we should similarly treat breakups."
The actress, who is all set to appear in Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, further explained, "Where there are relationships, there are bound to be ups and downs. Breakups are a part of life. Just as we welcome love openly, we should accept breakups without getting disheartened."
When asked about the timing of the breakup, Anjuum replied, "It happened some time ago."
As she had once publicly shared her relationship on social media, many wondered why she didn't announce the breakup the same way. Addressing this, Anjuum said, "I tend to do things very openly. But when the breakup happened, I didn't feel like sharing it with the world. I thought, what is there to say about it?"
Despite going through a breakup, Anjuum remains optimistic about love. She shared that she still believes in the idea of falling in love and doesn't regret being in a relationship.
She also spoke about the pain of losing close connections, not just in romantic relationships, but also in friendships. "Even friendships of 10 to 15 years have ended in my life. I do feel bad about those losses, too, and wonder why certain people walked away from my life," she said. "But at the end of the day, change is the only constant."
Anjum's honest and balanced perspective on relationships and heartbreak reflects her emotional maturity. As she steps into a new chapter in her career with her upcoming show, she continues to remain positive and encourages others to embrace both love and heartbreak with equal acceptance.
