Anjan Srivastava in a cameo in Maniben.com

 
Smriti Irani aka Maniben will now have to tackle the entry of a grumpy Colonel, played by veteran actor Anjan Srivastava in SAB TV's Maniben.com, produced by Contiloe Telefilms.

According to our source, "Anjan Srivastava will be seen in a cameo role for 12 episodes or so. The actor will begin shoot tomorrow".

When contacted, Anjan Srivastava confirmed the news and said, "I am playing the role of a grumpy Colonel who is very disciplined. He will now encounter a woman like Maniben".

Elaborating further, he told us, "I was not keen on taking up this role. But Smriti Irani came to me with this proposal, and I could not refuse her. I have worked with Smriti earlier and admire her talent a lot".

Let's now look forward to the comic twists between Maniben and the Colonel…
