Anjali Anand's long note on 'RRKPK's response is just as emotional as it can be to be in a Karan Johar film

Actor Anjali Anand is certainly going through a purple patch right now as she continues to be a part of the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 but is still absorbing the immense love and appreciation that her stint in the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (RRKPK) has earned her.

As we know, with the film all set to cross the 150 crore mark in the next few days, RRKPK has turned out to be a super hit, and it wasn't just Karan Johar's return to direction after seven years but was also the big-screen debut for Anand. Overwhelmed and ecstatic, Anand couldn't control her emotions after about twenty days of release as she went to post a video that narrated the journey from her bagging the role to look test to shoot and so on. 

The actor penned a long and emotional note to express better. Her post read, "I wanted to write a longgggg caption, there’s so much I wanted to say for about twenty days now but I’m at a complete loss of words. The love I have received through all mediums has been so overwhelming. I have read each text, DM, taken calls, met, shook hands, hugged, kissed, cried and laughed with so many over the past couple weeks and for that I am so grateful.

This journey is nothing without the people involved in it that made it so special. Someone had told me before starting this film that Dharma is going to spoil you and you won’t ever come back. I didn’t understand what this meant then but I get it now.

I feel spoiled with love, respect, being heard, being seen and most importantly spoiled with feeling like an integral part of this very special family.

The post might indeed be long for one to read and fathom but what one can easily understand is the feeling of bagging and being in a Karan Johar film is something that cannot possibly be expressed to its entire justice. But even then, Anand's words are sufficient to justify what we felt throughout this process and now, after attaining all the love.
