Anil Kapoor, Sonam and Khushi wishes Nirmala Kapoor her 88th birthday; share unseen family pictures

The Kapoor family have always been an inspiration to many when it comes to exhibiting love and togetherness. Be it the family members birthdays or anniversaries or any other events and festivals, the family members always come together and enjoy the happy moments with each other.

Today marks the 88th birthday of Anil Kapoor's mother Nirmala Kapoor. Marking the occasion, he took to his social media handle and released a bunch of unseen pictures of his family and mom. In the the post, the first picture depicts the happy family vibe as they got clicked candidly during Sonam Kapoor;'s sons naamkaran ceremony.

In the picture, we can see Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor with her baby on the lap, Anand Ahuja, Nirmala, and others. In the following picture. Anil can be seen sitting with his mother on the chair while both of them were donning similar outfits. The following pictures offered a glimpse at throwback pictures of Nirmala Kapoor. Sharing the pictures, Anil wrote, "The wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother & now great grandmother celebrates her 88th birthday today! There’s no one like you! Happy Birthday Mom! ♥️ @nirmalkapoorbombay".

Sonam Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor also wished their grandmother by sharing unseen family pictures with her. In the pictures shared by Sonam we can see Nirmala Kapoor holding on to her son Vayu. While Khushi Kapoor shared a family portrait which was probably clicked during Diwali celebration. 

Recently, the Kapoor family gathered for the naamkaran ceremony of Sonam Kapoor's son. Announcing his name as Vayu on social media she wrote, 

"In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives...In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength...In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. In Hindu scriptures Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind. Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe. All the deity's of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu.

He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave and mesmerisingly beautiful. Thank you for your continued wishes and blessings for Vayu and his family."
