Anees Bazmee: If I get a suitable story, will make some thriller like Deewangee with Ajay Devgn

Diretor Aness Bazmee has been the talk of the town as his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is all set to hit the big screens on May 6th. With a stellar cast and enthralling story line Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has become one of the most anticipated films. 

Chatting candidly with the press fillmaker Anees Bazmee talked about his filmography and his experience while filmimg the film.  India Forums questioned him: So while your filmography has been all about comedy films in the past few years, didn't you get the urge to go back to the thriller genre as you have also directed a film like Deewangee?

"Film ka aisa nahi hai ki karna hai, muje ek step aisa chaiye ki lage karna chaiye." He further exclaimed

 "Film deewangee is very close to my heart and I am myself looking forward to it. Ek correct story mil jaye toh wo toh ese do minute mein ajay aur mai hum dono ek dusre ke liye kaam karne ke liye ready hai. Dosti bhi hai ek acha mahool bhi hai. But that character has become 20 years old and matured. So the level of his shruedness will be much higher. If a person who was so crazy 20 years ago, now if that character has to be shown, it will be very different. Toh jis din wo story aur mauka milega to banaynge wesi film."

Anees also talked about his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and how the whole filming schedule got stretched to 2 years because of the Pandemic. He also shared an anecdote about how all of them were filming in Lucknow and Kartik was all paranoid about the virus, yet he refrained from taking it seriously. Anees also hailed Kartik Kiara and Tabu for their efforts, acting skills and the hard work which they have put for this film and have literally shed their blood and sweat for its success.
