The fans of Sab TV's Tenali Rama were in for a major shock when it was confirmed that actress Priyamvada Kant aka Sharda will be quitting the show.

The actress wasn't too happy with the idea of playing an on-screen mother, and hence she decided to call it quits.

However, she also mentioned how she will be continuing with the show till they find a replacement.
