Amitabh Bachchan talks about not being able to celebrate Holi due to his injury on the sets of 'Project K'

Amitabh Bachchan said in his most recent blog entry, published on Wednesday, that he avoided physical exertion and was unable to participate in the Holi celebrations.

Amitabh Bachchan revealed on March 5 that he injured himself while filming an action scene for Project K in Hyderabad. Big B mentioned that a muscle in his right rib cage suffered a tear and fractured his rib cartilage. He was airlifted to Mumbai after being brought to the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad for a CT scan. While recovering at his Mumbai house, Jalsa, Amitabh Bachchan stated yesterday that Holika was lit in Jalsa. He wished his followers a joyful Holi and appreciated their prayers and well wishes.

Now, Amitabh Bachchan said in his most recent blog entry, published on Wednesday, that he avoided physical exertion and was unable to participate in the Holi celebrations.

Amitabh Bachchan's lastet blog post read “languishing in the environs of the home and the prevention from all kinds of physical activity .. the inability to partake in the festivities of the day. The energy and enthusiasm with which Holi was celebrated has gone amiss and has been so for years now."

Reminiscing the times when they used to celebrate Holi in Jalsa with all the pomp and show, he wrote, “The open house .. the celebratory welcome to all .. the hundreds that drenched themselves with music and dance and camaraderie .. starting early in the day and in a never-ending mode till the dawn of the next .. those times may never come again .. I hope they do .. but it looks difficult .. at least for the present."

Talking about 'Project K,' the film is being helmed by Nag Ashwin and also features Deepika Padukone and Prabhas in pivotal roles. The film is all to hit the big screens on January 12 2024.
