First time post his injury, superstar Amitabh Bachchan greeted his fans outside Jalsa.
Earlier this month, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan suffered an injury while filming an action sequence for his upcoming film, Project K, in Hyderabad. The injury reportedly caused a tear in his right rib cage, which worried his fans about his health. After receiving medical attention at a hospital in Hyderabad, Bachchan returned to his home in Mumbai to recuperate at Jalsa, his residence.
In a blog post, Bachchan expressed his gratitude for his fans' concern and well wishes and mentioned that he would be unable to greet them at the gates of Jalsa as he usually does. However, a few weeks later, the actor resumed his Sunday routine of greeting fans who gathered outside his home to catch a glimpse of him.
Amitabh Bachchan is known for his commitment to his fans and has often expressed his appreciation for their support throughout his career. Despite his injury, he has maintained a connection with his fans and provided them with a glimpse into his life through social media and other platforms.
In his blog post shared a few hours ago, Amitabh Bachchan shared pictures from his Sunday meet and greet ritual with his fans at Jalsa gate. He is seen in a black printed jacket over a white kurta-pyjama and is wearing a homemade sling across the shoulder. “work continues .. the Sunday blessings of the well-wishers.. my love affection and gratitude .. they still come .. me in a homemade sling and the grey,” wrote Big B. In the pictures, he is seen walking out to the gate of Jalsa and warmly greeting a sea of fans gathered outside his residence.
Even with his sling on, Amitabh Bachchan looks delighted to be greeting his fans, and in his blog, he wrote that he feels blessed. “they come in droves and wait and watch, elders, children and several others in passing or in station .. so much care and love .. blessed to be in their eyes for more ..”
Talking about the work front, Big B will be seen in Nag Ashwin helmed, Project K is a bilingual film shot simultaneously in two languages--Hindi and Telugu across various locations. Deepika Padukone and Prabhas are playing pivotal roles in the film. Apart from that, he will also be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta's next courtroom drama film Section 84.
