Amitabh Bachchan Apologises to Fans waiting for him outside Jalsa post his Discharge

The Internet was taken by storm when the reports of legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan being admitted to Nanavati hospital made rounds. However despite that, it was just a routine check-up, and nothing major, the fans of the superstar were highly worried. The actor was finally discharged from Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital on Friday night in the company of his wife, actor Jaya Bachchan and his son, Abhishek. 

While the actor is hale and hearty, his fans seem to be worried about his health. A crowd of people gathered outside Big B’s house in Juhu to meet the superstar on Sunday. Every Sunday, Amit Ji waves to his fans waiting outside Jalsa, however, this time he could not maintain the routine. 

The superstar took to his Twitter to state his apologies to fans as he could not come out for the Sunday meet and interact with the fans eagerly waiting for him outside Jalsa. Sharing the pictures of the crowd gathering outside his house, Bachchan wrote, “T 3524 - I convalesce .. but they still come for the Sunday meet .. my apologies .. could not come out.”

There were rumors making the rounds about the superstar’s liver ailment, which had caused a frenzy among fans. A Hindustan Times report had dismissed such rumors stating that the actor was there for a routine check-up after a minor health issue. “Amitabh (sir) Bachchan was admitted on Tuesday around 2 am concerning a health issue and had undergone a complete health check-up. He was advised to take some rest so he stayed back for a few days. Unfortunately, I can’t reveal much about it as we have to respect his privacy, “ quoted the report.
