Amit Singh Thakur enters Bidaai as Mallika's dad..

Mallika's dad, played by Amit Singh Thakur will enter Bidaai right in time for his daughter's engagement with Alekh..

Star Plus and Rajan Shahi's Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai is progressing towards the engagement of Alekh (Angad Hasija) and Mallika (Smriti Sinha). And for this happy occasion comes Mallika's dad, played by Amit Singh Thakur.

Amit Singh was last seen playing the character of a miser in Star One's Hum Dono Hai Alag Alag.

When contacted, Amit Singh Thakur confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I will be shooting for Bidaai from 12th March. I have never done a cameo before, but I agreed to do this as Bidaai is one of the top shows".

Elaborating on his character, Amit says, "The character is very powerful. I am a super rich guy who loves his daughter very much, and can go to any extent to make her happy. However, I can't tell you anything on the track".

Amit Singh will have a new look for the role, and will sport a mustache and colored lens.
